

The Miss Scuba India pageant was held for the very first time in 2016 with a purpose of spreading awareness and knowledge about ocean conservation, safe diving practices and educating people in India about marine life. Also, to make a change in the world of pageants in India.
Miss Scuba India creates not only beauty queens but ocean ambassadors, who can travel around the country and help educate people to understand about oceans and how important they are for our future.
Every year in Miss Scuba India 20 potential ambassadors from India will be groomed, and the winner of this pageant will represent India internationally at the Miss Scuba International platform.
Miss Scuba India is a pageant with purpose, vision and mission of saving oceans through beauty.
The MISS SCUBA INDIA rights are held exclusively by Ms. Varsha Rajkhowa, Miss Scuba International 2016-17 and the only Indian to win the international pageant.
She was also given the title of ocean ambassador and only global ambassador from India till now.
Varsha Rajkhowa is an International Beauty Queen, youth icon, TEDx speaker, international model, Climate leader, Choreographer and the first Indian to win the international crown of Miss Scuba International in the year 2016. She successfully completed her reign from 2016-17 and still continues to carry on the legacy of saving ocean and protecting environment by doing her bit using various platforms and endorsing sustainable brands.

Varsha has been touring around the world working towards the cause of saving the ocean and spreading awareness about environmental conservation. She is a self-made beauty queen with a strong vision to provide platform for aspiring artist and models and to protect environment and conserve oceans for a brighter future. Born in Assam India and brought up in different parts of the country Varsha belongs to a defence background.
